Ravel for plucked string orchestra
2012 is finished, and so is my current project “Ravel”. It is a transcription of “Le Tombeau de Couperin” for plucked string orchestra, commissioned by the Landeszupforchester Berlin. It will be performed on 9 June 2013 in the Passionskirche in Berlin-Kreuzberg.
A commission from Japan
My first commissioned work “Cantô” is finished. Is was written for Michiko Mataoka and the Ensemble Testa Calda who are playing the first performance in February 2013.

My piece “Rituel” has been published by Joachim-Trekel-Musikverlag.
Awardee at the composition competition »José Fernández Rojas 2010«
My composition “Rituel” has received the 1st prize at this year’s composition competition “José Fernández Rojas” The jury announced its decision on Saturday, 11th December 2010 during a concert of the plucked string orchestra “La Orden de la Terraza”. The award includes prize money of 2,500 euros.
Mandolin concerto finished
I’ve finished my latest piece: “Concerto Nr. 3” for mandolin, percussion and plucked string orchestra.
Orchestral work revised
The “Concerto No. 1” has experienced another revision. After the first revision, where the whole second movement was exchanged and the third movement heavily shortened, the piece now has reached its third and final form.
A special honour
Two of my pieces have expierienced a special honour: “Burlesken Szenen” has been chosen as a compulsory piece for the mandoline age group IV of the Roland Zimmer Youth Competition 2008. And “Capriccio” is now on the list of the recommended compositions for the Orchestra Competition 2008, published by the Deutscher Musikrat.
New work finished
A new composition has been finished: “Concerto da Camera” for plucked string ensemble or orchestra. It is an easy piece to be played using a baroque to classical language.
